The Renew Newcastle project that i have been working on in my home town of Newcastle was featured on the ABC TV Sunday’s Arts program.
Over the course of the last 6 month or so we’ve set up a scheme that has taken over nearly 20 formerly empty buildings in Newcastle and made them available to artists and creative types. This video does a pretty good job of capturing the results.
Spaces are still available under the scheme. For more information about it see the web site.

It’s a great initiative Marcus and you’ve executed brilliantly. Good on you for pushing on it so energetically despite all those long drives up and down the highway.
Thanks Zolton. It’s actually been a lot of flights up and down the East coast as i’m based in Melbourne. Thank god for bargain basement airlines.
